Using harakeke(flax) our expert binder has stripped the fine muka fibers to create a traditional cord that has been plaited and will be used to bind your taonga giving it that special touch and connection to the Whenua(land)
Binding services are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The typical turnaround time for muka binding is 5 business days, but may take up to two weeks.
- If you are in the Hamilton area, you are free to come by anytime Monday-Friday 10am to 5pm to our studio in Frankton (address below) to drop off your taonga for any of our services.
- If you are outside of the Hamilton area, please courier your item to:
