Hiku Tohorā - Whale Tail

Whale tails are a symbol of the Tohorā (whale).Tohorā are the kaitiaki (guardians) of the realm of Tangaroa (God of the Ocean). In the Maori world, they are an omen of the supernatural and a sign of abundance because of their many offerings, even in death.
