The toki epitomises the artistry and skill of the craftsman, protector and provider. Of great mana (prestige), to wield the toki is to wield strength.
This hei toki was carved by Jeremy Walsh from kōkopu pounamu sourced from Arahura of Te Wai Pounamu, Aotearoa. It measures 65mm by 33mm and whakarei with unaunahi. It has a semi-gloss finish, and is bound with an adjustable hand-braided cord.
